Hey Ron...I was right with you on your tirade brother. That guy was gettin' under my skin reading his Ronnie and Beck for McFadden and Quinn BS! And his comment about Ronnie never running a 4.35...if I remember correct he ran a blistering 40 as well...even faster than the Caddy. You can tell he's a fair weather fan. Same for the guy wanting to trade JT to the Jets for Vilma. He must be a Canes fan who love them more than the Phins. Anyone wanting to send JT to ANY of the division rivals is foolish...not to mention JT has earned more than that.

I have grown SOOOO tired of these guys (and I'm being nice here with my words) who have this man love crush on Brady Quinn. They must be seeing his commercials and getting all hot and bothered! Ginn had a pretty darn solid rookie year considering the rest of our team played so poor. I watched him closely and only saw him drop one pass that I thought was an easy catch, and I saw him open deep A LOT, but Cleo didn't have enough time to set up and heave.

Face it all of you...you're pretty boy will NEVER wear a Phins uni. He's a native of Ohio and grew up a Browns fan. Do you really think he's leavin' there?

Hey AAD and NYScot...you're forgetting one thing in your questioning of Rogers. The Lions organization is notorious for burning guys out with all the losing. Remember Barry Sanders just hanging it up because of that? He wanted to be traded...but the Lions locked him up, and even after retirement blocked his chance to return with rediculous demands for his rights. They are a waste land. Another example...Moss on the Raiders, and Moss with the Pats. Now...I'm not saying we are going to be great, but a fresh system, new guys, new coaches, and some sunny weather can do wonders for guys trapped on teams like the Lions.

It appears many posters have talked yourselves into believing Rogers is our answer at NT. I could not disagree more. No matter how badly some want him to be our answer, he is not. IMO, it's naive to think that Sporano can motivate the guy long term. We MUST build through the draft.

Guys, even if he does improve the Dolphins for a couple years, who cares. Does it matter if we are 6-10 for the next couple seasons as opposed to 3-13. Wait a couple years to bring in the free agents and use them to get us "over the hump". Right now we can't even see the hump!

We have to start building thru the draft, period! We need picks and more picks. It's going to take at least two years to start winning. We were 1-15 and lucky to win one game. All of the idiot GM's plus Huzinga having no clue about football has destroyed the team. Maybe we have a few good players from last year's draft but that's TBD. We need to crawl before we walk before we spend any free agent big bucks. Fin's fans need to be patient and don't think we can go 8-8 and then to the super Bowl after that. We need to find ways to get draft picks and keep the faith that parcells and the rest of his crew is not like the rest of the GM's and idiots before him.
Anyone think we could use some offensive lineman? When was the last time we really drafted some quality offensive lineman? So let's go with one of the Long guys. That both seem incredible and we can build around them.
Nothing fantastic will happen next year if we don't get some O-lineman.

Just because we are rebuilding doesnt mean that we don't need to try and win now either. Why do you think Tuna cleared all that cap space? Besides, Rogers is young. He'll be the center piece of our DL for hte next 5 years. Also, it doesnt make sense to trade JT if your trading for Rogers. As for the 1st pick... I think Jerry Jones made it clear he's not interested in McFadden. The only position worth putting all that #1 pick money into is QB. Matt Ryan will be our first pick. Addressing the OL in the 2nd round is a given but we have to pick the best available. No more of this Vernon Carey over Wilfork business.
