only Bryan in Ohio would think trading the #1 overall pick and the first pick in the third round for a QB with a 1 year track record who started out as the team's 3rd stringer would be smart.

Bryan from Ohio stop it man you're killing me! Hahahaha. I can't stop laughing about this one. YOU were the one who started talking about trading away a 1st and 3rd for Anderson. You talked about in here two weeks ago and everyone jumped on you for it so now you're starting rumors, that a rumor site, said Parcells was going to do that, which is probably a RUMOR that YOU started there. First of all no one knows what Parcells is going to do when he gets here, not even Parcells himself, so where would they have heard that from? Second, WE ALL KNOW YOU LIKE Anderson but no one in their right mind would give up 2 draft picks, ESPECIALLY the first overall pick in the draft for an unproven QB. They may not even make the playoffs (Browns). What I think is that because you live in Ohio you are hearing all of these great things about Anderson because the media is in love with the kid there. They are hyping him up to be the next coming of Joe Montana! He is not worthy of such a hefty price tag and everyone outside of Ohio knows it. Now if you had said that CAM was going to give up a 1st and a 3rd then I would believe it but not Parcells, he's too smart to do something that stupid. But thank you for the laugh. NYScott

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to the Miami Dolphins community of press, players, support staff, and of course, the rest of us, the fans!

May God bless us all in the coming year and may 2008 bring us great things professionally, personally, and of course, a few more Dolphin victories and less heartache!

To Arrrrrrmando....keep up the good work here. Your blog keeps me entertained on a daily basis. I thank you for that.

Here's to 2008 and beyond!

Actually, it was I who suggested the Derek Anderson trade. (go back and look) I still think it makes sense...

to Marc - With the promise Derek Anderson has shown this year I think the Browns would be nuts to let him go. Quality NFL QB's are very rare indeed and he has shown that he could develop into one. Brady Quinn has shown nothing. Granted, he has not been given a chance, but there must be a reason for that. The Brown's cannot bank on Quinn, they will keep Anderson.

Luckily NONE of you folks that would give away Miami's first and third for Derek Anderson matter
