Let's talk on radio Sunday 3-5:30 p.m.

Because you knuckleheads always accuse me of making it all about me, let me feed the machine a little bit.

I'll be on the radio between 3-5:30 Sunday afternoon on 790 The Ticket here in South Florida. Feel free to tune in either on the radio or online at 790theticket.com. You can also call in to the toll free line at 1-888-790-3776 and we can talk or you can leave questions or comments in the comments section below and, if they're not filled with expletives, I'll read them on the air and answer.

If on the other hand you think I suck, feel free to listen and call in anyway because it apparently doesn't keep anyone from visiting this blog.

It'll be all in fun folks.

Hey, did I happen to mention this blog got a record 153,377 visitors last month?

Hi Armando,

You don't have to thank me for hitting refresh 153,000 times. I really had a lot of free time, so it was my pleasure to help you out.

You wrote earlier about how Parcells supposedly only found value in a few players- Ginn, Fields, Satele, and, if healthy, Brown. Well, I was wondering just how valid those statements are.. first off, Fields was extremely inconsistent, while our kicker Feely was pretty strong all season. Why does Feely not get a spot? How about Vernon Carey, who, at least statistically, was among the league's best tackles this season? Or Will Allen, who was picked to Dr. Z's All-Pro team and had a great season, despite poor surroundings?

I'm sure this is a valid source, but if Parcells doesn't count those guys as more valuable than Brandon Fields, then I question his judgement.

Hey Armando,

Any idea where we're leaning with our picks this year? I know it's early, but Parcells is the type to cross players off his list if he's not a fan, so maybe we have an idea of where we aren't going at least. It seems to me that wherever we go at number one, we are taking a risk.. Ryan doesn't seem to be number one talent, nor does Jake Long...we have Brown and Booker so why McFadden, and then when it comes to the DL, will they fit in whatever D we run?

Armando- What are the odds that the Dolphins enter the Chad Johnson sweepstakes, should he end up on the block? They're clearly in need of a wideout and CJ would fit the bill.

'Mando,
Glad to see being under the weather didn't take away your humor! Can you please speculate which free agents we may target or which positions? I think Haynesworth (D-Line/Tennesse) is a great start. I would go after Nnamdi Asomugha (CB/Oakland)as well. He wouldn't command as much $$ as Asante Samuel but this guy was only thrown at 28 times in '07, only 10 completions against him and he had 1 pick. That's complete respect from the opponent to only be thrown at that many times. What about Karlos Dansby (LB/Arizona)? Thanks 'Mando!

Could you imagine how well your blog would be doing if the Dolphins were worth a crap? Keep up the good work.

Armando, has Beck been in to work out or have meetings with any of the new staff?

Actually, if you compare this blog and the Dolphins, the stuff being written about the team is of higher quality than the team itself which is kind of sad to me.

i think the fins should take dorsey or long. rebuild the defence with young players. do not sign any high priced veterans. i don't see this team as being in contention until the qb play gets much better. rebuild the d now and give beck time to grow into the position.

MY main Man Mando.

Queries for the Radio, word;

1) Any truth to the rumor the Dolphins will try to acquire Donovan McNabb?

2) Any truth to the rumor that Ireland-Parcells do NOT want to draft Glen Dorsey because they don't believe he can play NT in the 3-4 defense Sparano hopes to implement?

3) What are the odds, the Dolphins would draft Matt Ryan? How could the Dolphins justify selecting yet ANOTHER QB if they don't somehow trade down and obtain 2 1st-round draft picks in the bargain?

4) Who do you judge has the better prospect for a great NFL career: Glenn Dorsey or Chris Long? Which of the two would have a more dramatic and immediate impact on the Dolphins defense in '08?

5) How do you appraise OT Jake Long: Orlando Pace or Robert Gallery? Isn't the risk of drafting an OL with the first pick too great for the Dolphins to hazard it?

6) ANy chance Ireland-Parcells can woo a free-agent of dramatic impact to a team that just won ONE game? If so, who?

7) Any chance Sparano can whack LeBetard and award me his job?

Mando, Mando Mando.....Any chance you can talk about how after one week post SB we are still glad that
Belecheat got his clock cleaned, and will in all likelyhood---no hood intended, not be back next weason with his hoodie?

I'm not a hater, although as much as I've been a Dolphins fan for most of my life, I can honestoy tell you that for the past few weeks I've been a Giant's fan.

Huge, Huge upset. Please discuss.

Armando, I agree. Answer the questions you were dsicussing not being asked of Sparano; at least in your opinion, but also...

What do Parcells and Ireland think of Beck REALLY?

OMG, Bryan in Ohio sounds like I thought he would on the radio. He said he would love to get his hands on Derek Anderson...Why am I not surprised?

Dude, Shockey is Shockey no matter where he goes...

BTW, guys. The Dolphins will grandstand all day about Ryan, Dorsey, Long, etc.

When it id all done, we won't draft a QB early. They will flush this roster and they will evaluate Beck in 2008.

He is the starter in 2008. That's why they reached out to Trent Green. Beck is the guy for now. Face it. Thank God!

That was a really entertaining show, Armando. I listened on my computer at home in Kendall.

I don't normally listen to 790. Big 560 fan here. But you were really good.

I'll listen next weekend when you are on.

He talked about how shockey and ocho-cinco want to be traded but how they don't seem like a fit for the Dolphins.

He said the Dolphins would study the possibility of giving up a pick for Derek Anderson. The decision one way or another isn't made.

He talked about Faneca, and Flozell Adams as possibilities for the Dolphins and explained why. I also heard Jason Cole on the show.

Armando called Jason Cole the best reporter to ever cover the Dolphins which blew Jason away. Also blew me away because Armando is that guy, IMHO.

He also ripped the Patriots and Red Sox which was my favorite part. What a Miami homer in that regard.

To say we lost Wes Welker is an understatement!
It was more like Cool moe Dee bitch slapping you in front of your girl, and leaving you a nose bleed seat at a Fat Boys concert!
What do you think of L. Booker as a slot receiver?
He has great hands, fast, and will wear out any linebacker or nickle back covering him.

Hi Armando,
whats up with Flozell Adams - Sparano was his Oline coach and if he is any good -would there be a rush for Dallas players now after we finished the coaches?

Any rumors out there??? what about Ken Hamlin also becoming a Cowfin.
