Trade the Dolphins 53 for Tom Brady?

Quickie here to go along with the loooong post I put up earlier: As one of my faithful blog readers gave me a heads up, Jason Taylor did make an interesting comment on the Dan Patrick radio show earlier this week.

While talking about what he would do if he were making the picks on draft day, Taylor went in an interesting direction when he said he would trade the Dolphins for Tom Brady.

That's not trade playing for the Dolphins for playing with Brady. That's a heads-up trade.

"I would trade our 53 for Tom Brady," Taylor said. "I would trade our entire roster for Tom Brady."

QUESTIONS:

1. Do you take that as an insult when the team's star player says publicly he would trade all of his other teammates for one player, particularly a player on a division rival?

2. If you had the option, would you make that trade?

Have at it....

Mando, Naw I would not make that trade, cause the fins would still go 1-15, cause brady cant do it by himself. hahahah either way we still (LOSE) LOLOL

I think it is poor form for Taylor to say he would trade everyone for Brady. He was trying to make a point, I understand that, but he was bashing his teammates in the process. He should have said he would have traded the entire draft or the next ten years of drafts. Something that did not involve current players.

It's insulting. That's our "Face of the Franchise" folks. Way to throw your teammates under the bus, Jason. Bill, please ship Taylor out of town the second a good offer comes across the wire.

WHat do people think quaterterbacks are?? god??? you can win a superbowl with a quater back like Trent DIlfer if you have a good team Brady is a decent quaterback thats IT, if you coach knows the defense of the other teams (spygate) he can set up skeams to thwart the other team duh soon as brady got hit buy a defense they didnt have tape on they got beat up!!! im sick of the BRADY sh** he is not better thatn Payton Manning, Carson Palmer, Drew Breese better quaterbacks from a skill standpoint put any of them on the Pats and they set records...

Huge insult. Trade an entire team for the most overrated quarterback who ever played the game. Wow some people say stupid things. Take a look at Tom Brady. I mean a close look without patriot fans or ESPN analysts, oh wait same thing. And watch him play. All he can do is throw little short screens to running backs and wide recievers or throw the ball up in the air and let Randy Moss push over 2 defenders to get it because there is no offensive pass interference in this league. Tom Brady is GARBAGE. Laugh all you want tell me i'm a biased Dolphins fan I don't care anymore Tom Brady is overrated and put him into our system and he'll look worse than Daunte did. I would put my house on that. Put John Beck in New England where he doesn't have to do anything but dump the ball off and get jerked off by everybody in the league and all of a sudden jason Taylor would be saying he'd trade the Dolphins for him. he is saying that so Parcells will get rid of him plain and simple he does not honestly feel that way he just wants out.

yes ray it is a team game but you need a smart QB a decent running game and a good D....TB is very smart and for you to say he's not a great QB is just plain ignorant and that's to all you posters...miami hasn't had a good QB since don strock..maybe thats why you cant identify with greatness (spamarino only has stats he wasnt a leader or a winner, thats a fact) good luck with a 2 win season(both vs Jets)

He was part of the very comment he made and he knows it! Ability and smarts is one thing.. Being to belly up and use it even in a losing situation is quite another!

Brady is very overrated. A few questions:

Q - Why do Brady's post-season stats drop so far from the regular season?

A - Because there are no scrub teams to run up the score on.

The Pats last year were the lowest class team ever, going for it on 4th downs when they had 20+ point leads late in the game.

Adam Vinatieri won all those bowls.

Last time I checked Brady choked in the playoffs the last 3 years......come to think of it, have you sorry Pats won a Super Bowl since your awesome kicker left? Uhm no, but the Colts did win the SB with AV.

Maybe AV is the reason you won anything at all - look at your chicken coach with his kicker in the bowl this year. Yeah - AV with 4 rings, TB with 3. I would not trade AV for Brady straight up!

Who whould have thought the best clutch kicker I have ever seen by far would make such legends out of an average coach and QB.

I've noticed the Patriots' fans have come out of hibernation on this blog. I still don't understand why they would want to venture onto this site, but, hey, its their free time and I suppose its good to sniff Perfectville from afar from time to time. Anyhoo, Taylor was trying to make a point and, I don't know, TB was on a decent team last year and couldn't win it, so I don't know if he's the best all time QB. He is certainly better than what we have right now, but I wouldn't make the trade as we do have some young and upcomers on our team and, I'm of the ilk to not want divisional rival players. It was odd having Thurman Thomas on our team, not only because he torched us all those years, it just didn't seem right. I know, all you Pats fans will say if TB was on our team and we won I'd be happy, but that's a big IF. Like I said, the Pats went into the superbowl as heavy favorites and 18-0 and they couldn't get the job done. Perhaps TB is finished? Ha. Not true, but kinda funny. I am looking forward to the draft and whether or not Taylor is on our team is out of my hands, so, good luck to all concerned. Let's go Fins! NYJeff

I think it was a little over the top but we all know that the talent pool in Miami is not that deep. However, even though I feel that TB is a very good quarterback the patriots can keep him. We will have our franchise quarterback soon and when we are whipping their arses all over the field we won't even be having this conversation.

And as for the person who is basically calling Marino a bad quarterback (all stats), you are just annoying and over the top. Can you give an assessment without over exaggerating. I love Marino and I believe that few people have had the intensity and drive to win more than he did and this is coming from someone who watched him play since 85. Oh, and you don't get as many records or play as long on the same team as a starter unless you are something special. I will not make the argument that he is the best but in my heart and mind he is the best.

At first, I was taken back by reading JT's comment but then I thought I really dont know the context in which he said it. I noticed he said 53 men not 52. Since he included himself in the trade it sounds like what he was saying was more a testament to how good TB is, not to dis his teammates personally. All 53 were 1-15.

P.S. You penny loafer, sweater vest wearing Patriots fans can kiss my a**! You probably weren't even a fan until they started winning. Go bicker with the other ladies on your own blog.

Raymond,What are you talking about when you say Brady wasn't a top 5 QB last year? He was 1st in yards,TDs,completion percentage,QB rating and had the fewest interceptions of any QB that played 16 games.
What kind of retarded evaluation do you use that 4800yards,50 TDs and 8 interceptions isn't top 5? I guess its the same one that rips Montana for playing in the West Coast but pimps Favre, who had his best years in Holmgrens West Coast Offense and McCarthy's West Coast Offense. Or pimps Fouts, who is the poster boy for system QBs. Air Coryell was West Coast before the term West Coast Offense caught on.

Why did they trade for Dillon and draft Maroney in the 1st if they had such a dominant ground game? Brady has had 2 1,000 rushers in 7 seasons. Your dealing with people who watched Ricky run for 1,800 yards while Fiedler sucked and you're trying to say Brady is overrated because of his running game and defense? What did Ricky and that defense do for Fiedler? Why did New Englands RBs and defense do for Bledsoe? They sucked until Brady came in.

I dislike the guy but to try and downplay what he's down is stupid.

Brady is the only poor sport low class player on your list to have ever gotten such stats. Never have I seen a good team run up the score so much on bad teams all year.

I could see Brady running the score up on the Phins, cuz he sucked against them for years (some of his finest choke jobs).

But what about the poor Bills, what did they ever do to Brady? (90% joking, since I could never feel sorry for a Bills fan)

Brady played so many sorry teams - he did not look too good against the decent ones.

Alright, Tom Brady. OVERRATED. The Patriots defense has been phenomenal for years. Their running game was dominant. They have quite possibly the best offensive line in the NFL to protect him (well, the Jets might have the better one this year thanks to free agency). And he had a re-born Randy Moss. But he couldn't win the big one this year. 18-0, and couldn't get the job done. The Dolphins completed the perfect season with a back-up QB playing most of the regular season and part of the playoffs. Put a QB like Marino, Favre, Montana, Tarkenton, Young, Aikman, etc. on the team that Brady had surrounding him this year, and the Giants get blown out in the Super Bowl. You know why? Because all of those QBs are used to getting hit all the time and can actually make clutch decisions under pressure. Brady stands around for 10 days waiting for one of his 3 receivers to get open, and then throws it up hoping they can make a catch. Kurt Warner threw 48 touchdowns and won the NFL and Super Bowl MVP with the rams one year, and he had the best surrounding cast a QB could ask for. But he can't do anything without them. Brady continues to have a different corp of great receivers and running backs every year, possibly better than Warner's Rams, but he can't make the decisions in the clutch when it counts. OVERRATED CHOKE ARTIST.

Quick side note, Marino had a couple of 1,000 yard rushers in his career. None of them repeated it the following season, and didn't last on the team more than 3 years, but he did have them. A QB can only throw so many touchdowns, and a defense can allow a lot more.

If you're gonna trade your whole roster, trade it for Peyton Manning. Most Dol-fans, and NFL fans of another team other then the pats HATE Brady. This is just one way of JT saying he wants out of Miami without directly asking for a trade. It's a slap in the face and he knows it. Just like he probably knows he won't be here next year. Here's a question: Do you wish JT the best as much as you wish Zach the best? Who would you rather see get a ring, Zach or JT? That'd be a juicy blog

Look...I hate Brady as much as all of you, but the guy is a pretty darn good QB. He's no Marino, but he's gonna end up top 15 all time.

To the queer patsie fan who said Danny is all stats (along with his other insults)...then answer this...why was Brett Favre saying kids should learn how to throw the way DAN throws...and not Brady? Or Manning? Or Montana?

The great ones KNOW Dan was the best pure passer this game has ever seen. Period. End of STORY. There is NO arguing it. If you try...you're arguing against thousands of "experts" who know way more about the game than you'll ever know.

Comprende?

So sit down and shut the ef up or leave our blog.

You're almost perfect team (but not quite!) has a turd for a coach, and he doesn't deserve to be "on top the mountain" with "The Don". So much for calling when you're moving in next door...you ain't. Mercury is still laughing at you btw.

As for JT and his remark...I know he was just complimenting TB. He respects the guy...but wow...that is in poor taste! How do you think some of his teammates feel? The guys who deserve better from our "team leader".

As for the guy who asked who I'd like to see get a ring more...Zach or JT? Dude...that was an easy question even before JT said this. It's a no brainer. ZACH...of course. The difference between JT and Zach is easy...Zach wanted to stay a Phin...rebuilding or not. JT wants to leave. Why? Because Zach no bleeds orange and aqua like us fans...and some players never develop that. That is why Danny didn't take the Vikes up on their offer!

Zach...will be sorely missed in my book. Just for his love of our team.

Bledsoe didnt get them anywhere. He didnt even win a game that year. He played in 2 games that year and the Patsies were 0-2 in those games. He was hurt in the 2nd game and Brady took over as starter. The team that was 0-2 with Bledsoe went 11-3 with Brady. The year before, when Bledsoe started every game, they went 5-11. Where were those great RBs and defenders that carried Brady? Bledsoe didnt get them anywhere,Bradys teammates didnt carry him. Adam V and the tuck rule are valid points. But they wouldnt have been in a playoff game against Oakland if Brady wasn't the QB. That team was 5-13 in games played without Brady,14-3 in games played with him. To say his teammates carried him is almost as dumb as saying Bledsoe took them to the Super Bowl.

I'm certain during much of the 1980s and 1990s, players in NE felt as Taylor does today. At that time, a player at NE could have proposed trading their 53 for Dan Marino.

Marino will always be undervalued due to the horrible teams he played on. He basically single handedly willed them to 9-7 seasons. Pull up a 1988-1995 Buffalo Bills roster and compare it to the Dolphins its laughable. They are loaded with HOF's or potential HOFer's while the Dolphins have one. NOt mention guys like Nate Odomes, House Ballard, guys that were just good starters. Example their Lber's Talley, Conlan, Bennett, Bently(or whoever) vs. Odom, Griggs, Offerdahl, Green......you can go down the roster back and forth and the Dolphins were outclassed at every position. Even WR Lofton and Reed and potential HOFer's

Ceed said it best. Brady is overrated at best. He does nothing special. Moss constantly pushed our d-backs out of the way to score touchdowns. I can't believe that people equate good quarterback skills with a team that is given superbowl wins. The pats went undefeated right. If anybody can honestly tell me that the receiver was in on the bullcrap catch that helped them beat the Ravens, then they should go see a f---in shrink. I sat next to a Pats fan in a bar who wouldn't even argue that and he was the loudest person in the bar until I brought that up. The league wanted to get ratings up. After 12-0, the league would not have let them lost. By the way, the Pats owner has a picture of Tagliabue in some kind of awkward position, and Goodell is just protecting him. That spells all the superbowl titles and an undefeated season. So Pats fans choke on that. And J-E-T-S suck, suck, suck, and Bills-see ya in Toronto. Get off the message board if you don't want to support the team.

1. No, I don't take it as an insult. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. It doesn't bother me..

2. Sure, I would make the trade and I tell you why in a practical manner. We will have solved our QB problem by bringing in the MVP. In turn, the Patriots would then have 100-something players on their roster. A lot of them would have to be cut, meaning we could sign them again. We'd lose some of our best players, but would be worth it. However, trading our 53 would kill our cap because of the accelerations. In essence, this trade couldn't be valid because the Patriots would be over the cap upon making the trade.

OOOOOOOH BOY !!!! I had a feeling someone would throw a comment in this blog about Marino... And sure enough the winner go's to MR F$&KING Anonymous IDIOT who said...

you lost my respect ray just by saying spamarino was the best..HE WAS THE MOST OVERRATED QB EVER!! he wouldn't even tackle a SF cb who intercepted him and let him score a td yeah he's the best all right pahleaseeee

First off Mr i'm Too afraid to put my name because I know I made a comment that was RETARDED !!! Dan Marino Is with out a doubt THE BEST QB EVER!!! He holds nearly EVERY record for a QB and the only two QB's close to him are Elway(im a fan), and Brett(im also a fan) and if Brett wasn't an "Iron Man" he may not have lasted long enough to break Danny's record this year. Dan Marino is not the best ever because he has no super bowl rings? I'm sick of hearing that..Trent freaking Dilfer has a super bowl ring(does that put him in the best ever category? NEVER !!! A "TEAM" wins a super bowl, not a QB !!! GET OVER IT!!!! Do we base the best running backs ever by how many super bowls they have? No we dont... Barry Sanders is the best RB ever and he has no super bowl ring...Dan Marino could hit a masquito from 50 yards away !! Joe Montana had The best receiver ever, Peyton Manning(still one of my favorites)has Marvin, Brady has MOSS who is on of the top 3 WR of all time, Elway had many greats and so did Brett..All those QB's have Rings..making sense yet? Dan Marino had Duper and Clayton who were great but only because Dan put the ball in there hands in a bread basket...Point is a team wins a super bowl not a QB so people need to stop judging how good a QB is based on super bowl wins..point proven i'm done now...Dont open your mouth when you have no clue what your talking about...Pats so called dynasty will go down as a cheating franchise with a freaking ***** next to ever super bowl win...Just like *Barry Bonds*, line up the ** for the cheaters !!!! BTW Jason Taylor won't be with the Fins after draft day because his ass is "getting traded" freakin sell out !! Im burning my 99 jersey as I type !!!

Did anyone see the interview with Brady around mid-season when he was asked how he felt about winning super bowls and why he keeps playing? Brady stated that he fely like there was more than just winning super bowls. Yeah, like individual records. SELFISHNESS!!!!! The entire Patriots organization became selfish and arogant this past season and it began to show at the end of the year, especially Belichick. If Marino were the QB on the Patriots team this past year they would have been 18-0. Marino was smart enough to call audibles out of passing downs when he read the blitz, Brady was not. The Pats could have won that game by simply running the ball more and being patient with the run. The Giants were the better team that day becaues they were not one dimentional. Brady is good QB surrounded by really good players but it means nothing when selfishness overcomes the team. The 1995 Dolphins learned that.

On JT, all his actions in the past year have made it clear he does not want to play for the Dolphins any longer. His words to Parcells or Sparano may be conciliatory but his actions speak volumes. Openly criticizing Cameron, dancing with the stars, making asinine comments about trading the whole team for Brady. Come on, it's obvious, he's trying to force his way out but not blatantly in case he is (in his opinion) stuck here.

In one sense, what does he have to play for anymore? He has buku bucks, he has all the personal accolades the NFL can give, the only thing he does not have is the ring. He knows he will most likely never get that ring playing out his career in Miami. I can't blame him for wanting out, but I also cannot condone the type of actions he has done in the past year. There is very little doubt in my mind that he will traded if and when the right offer is made.

What he told Jason Cole (and I'm fairly certain it was him) is the truth. Parcells went into damage control and may even condemn Taylor to finishing his career in Miami.

Trade his butt. I love JT for what he's given to the Dolphins organization, but it couldn't be more obvious he he doesn't want to be here.

Brady is a great QB, but people really need to keep in mind the strength of NE Oline and then compare that to ours. There is no comparison. Brady would get squashed behind our line.

(If he doesn't have a trade clause in his contract - picking where he wants to go - I'd trade him to anyone with a losing record ). I wouldn't give him an opportunity to win a ring. I'd stick it in his A** a mile deep and break it off !!
Evidently Jason is taking BIG MOUTH lessons from Joey Porter. Another a** hole that needs to traded or released.

Settle down everyone....the whole "Trade the team for Tom" statement was a joke. Everybody needs to lighten up.

Look, obviously J.T. has respect for Brady, and from all the sacks he's taken from J.T., I can guarantee the feeling from Brady is mutual.

I'm a Dolphins fan, which means I'm automatically obliged to hate the Patsies, Bills, and Jets...and I do. However, Brady is a tremendous QB. Up until this year, he's had crap at the WR position. He makes stuff happen and he always finds the open man. Look, I love Marino to death and he will always be #1 in my book. I think comparing the two of these guys is absolutely ridiculous. If Marino had a guy like Moss in 84, he would have hit 60 TDs instead of just 48.

Thats it - I've had it with him and so has Parcells no doubt... JT is doing this to imflame and its working. I am sure all of this crap is orchestrated by Gary Wichard, his agent.First dancing now this? Trade JT is more like it. Nice knowing you, jerk.

Blogger Unknown said...

It is really a ridiculous thing to say on JT's part. I hope he was joking. If not, he should be gone.

Additionally, (ignoring the fact it's impossible) what would be the point in trading an entire team for Brady? Then you'd have to build the team around him from scratch. Brady is a very good player who benefits from probably the best line, the best receiver, and the best coach in football. Miami wouldn't even be a playoff team with Brady in recent years.

I love how he says 6-6 and 230 pounds as if that seals Flacco's brilliance. Yeah it's a positive. It's not a deal-breaker. Doug Flutie kicked the crap out of Ryan Leaf on the field.

Is Taylor's point not a little less literal than what everyone is taking it as? He is simply saying with EMPHATIC eloquence, 'after 10 fn years we need to fix the QB situation.' It doesn't need to be literally Brady, a Manning brother, etc. I take him to mean, 1. Get a QB, 2. Get an O-line that keeps him off his ass, 3. Get some WRs that will catch his stuff. I also take this to mean, 4. Get a monster nose tackle, 5. another DE 6. A decent OLB and 7. a shutdown corner. But START thinking intentionally about a "Tom Brady".

Trading Tom Brady for the entire dolphins team, hmmmmm....That would be the stupidest trade of all time!!! For the Patriots! Tom Brady is the greatest QB of all time! 3 superbowl rings isn't clutch? NE was a last place 5-11 team with Bill Belichick and Bledsoe before Tom B. stepped in to win a Superbowl. But I guess Dolphins don't understand any of this, to them losing is a good thing, and I guess poor drafts and Free agent picks means your improving. Anyways, I can't wait to see Jason in a pats uniform, he deserves it. He is a great player and should be with a team that can get him a super bowl ring, not a team most of the top ten college teams could beat.

Ok, here's an idea that must be explored more:

http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=389615

While it's never been done with the 1st overall pick in the draft, the precident has already been set in prior drafts (just with lower picks).

If a trade doesn't materialize, Parcells could throw a huge monkey wrench into the draft process and still might be able to get what he wants (same player, less money).

I listened to the interview and Jason Taylor was NOT kidding. Patrick asked him who he would pick and out of nowhere he came with this Brady crap. And he wasn't laughing or joking. I heard it myself twice to make sure.

All you punks making excuses about he's kidding are full of it.

Anyone who would trade their whole team for a loser like Tom Brady would be an idiot. He has not earned his championship rings. Cheating can always make a player good.

The Giants showed the world what losers the Patriots are, and that includes Tom Brady. Trade the team for that loser and see the fans totally walk..

Trade Jason Taylor yesterday.

Draft OLB Vernon Gholston, DE Calais Campbell and QB Kevin O'Connell (6'6' 225 lbs) tomorrow.

Sack Tom Brady for years to come.

Nobody ever believed me how much JT is a punk. He's a pretty boy in the end.

Quick -- when a big game was on the line when was the last time JT made a big play?

Big time players come up in big time moments.

JT is and has been over-produced and VITAL TO MARKETING to idiots that guffaw at his pictures while forgetting this -- where was he for the big plays?

Later, JT. Enjoy Arizona. Or Cincy. Or Minny. Who cares, really?

We can do alot for the draft choices we can squeeze out for him and free up some cap space. Maybe we can draft or sign a player that will be the face of the franchise and while he's busy doing that doesn't forget to play big in big games.

There. I've said it three or four times.

Don't blame me, though. JT has been repeating his thing for a while now, too.

Don't be so blind. Let go. He wasn't THAT great, people.

I'm as big as a Dolphin fan as you can get but Brady is the best QB I've ever laid eyes on (I'm only 25). If you think of the caliber of weapons he had when he won those three superbowls, it completely trumps any argument of him not being the best...

with that said, we have his number! Except this year lol

Brady is NOT the best quarterback ever. He is simply a very good quarterback who has a line that gives him all the time in the world. He may not have always had top-notch receivers, but that means little when you have Bill Belichick scheming and the line playing like it did. Focus on his line for an entire game sometime. When it's on, and it usually is, he gets endless time to sit back and find receivers. When it occasionally has a bad game, like in the Super Bowl, you see what can happen. Brady is a very good quarterback, but his performance is enhanced by the staff, system and line that surround him. On a team like the Dolphins he'd be average to above average at best. As far as pure quarterback skills go, he's not on the level of a Marino, Manning, Elway, etc.

I have lost all respect for JT. What a terrible thing to say. I hope he finishes the rest of his career on the worst team in the league. He will never be a good leader. By the way, the Tom Brady for a whole team trade... i wouldn't even do that for the BEST quarterback (Peyton Manning) out there. Football is a team sport.

8:19 PM

the pats would never do the trade. dolphins players suck and brady is a stud. they would get 53 losers for one winner. about 50 of the fins would be let go anyway so really maybe 3 players for Brady? No way!

You all are not understanding the comment. Jason wants to go to New England. That is why he is saying he would trade (being with) 53 dolphins!!

LOL you bitter Dullphin fans crack me up. I've been a Pats fan since 1970, so I've suffered through decades of ineptitude.

Parcells might get your team back top respectability, but he won't stick around long enough for you to overtake the Pats.

PS Ceed: If you're older than 15 I pity you.

6:51 PM

Wow. You Dol-fans really make sick. Tom Brady is just in the prime of his career and already has 3 Super Bowl rings. Your great QB, Dan Marino, went to the Super Bowl once and lost. How do you even have the nerve to say that Dan Marino is better than Tom Brady when he still has a good 8-10years left in his career as a QB. On top of that, the three Super Bowls that he has won, he never had an all-star team. His main recevier was Deoin Branch who's an okay receiver but not a T.O. or Randy Moss type player. For as long as I can remember, the Pats never had a all-star running team either. One thing aside from their QB that was above average was that their defense was pretty good. Peyton Manning doesn't even come close to Tom Brady. Peyton has been in the league longer, has had Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne with him most of his career and the Colts had usually been at least a.500 team. Anyhoo, the Pats are winning the Super Bowl next year. And Raymond, learn how to spell and use proper grammar.

8:54 PM
Blogger Unknown said...

Well considering football is a team sport, I'd say Super Bowl rings in a Brady vs. Marino debate are completely irrelevant. If you think Marino in his prime wouldn't have won on the Patriots of the last decade, you're crazy.

And the Pats are gonna win the Super Bowl next year, huh? How much do you want to bet this Pats fan here was just as sure they'd win this year. It's almost as if... I dunno... he's biased!

8:56 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

I think that the Pats will win the Super Bowl every year. Since I'm assuming you're a Dol-fan, wouldn't you want to believe that your favorite team will win the championship every season. So to answer your question, yes I am biased.
Don't get me wrong, Mr. Marino was a good QB but as far as I'm concerned he hasn't won ANY Super Bowls. Not to mention that his career spanned an excess of 10 years. Besides last season, the Pats never really had an amazing supporting cast of players.

9:07 PM
Blogger Unknown said...

Armando, can you believe this retard? Jesus...

To address your comments one by one:
1. No, I don't THINK the Dolphins will win the Super Bowl each year, because it's not always a logical conclusion. I hope they do, I want them to, but I'm not going to delude myself. There is never a good reason to be biased.
2. As I already explained, Super Bowls mean nothing. Marino would have won Super Bowls in place of Brady, and Brady would have won none on any of Dan's teams. To blame the very best player on a team for lack of success is purely illogical, because without said player they'd be even worse.
3. The fact The Patriots haven't always have superstars is irrelevant and not a tribute to Brady. Brady still has had the benefit of, easily, one of the best football minds in history, an offensive line that gives him endless time to work, and last year Randy Moss. The Patriots haven't had success simply because of Brady - he's only a part of it. The rest, and the majority, is the result of a perfectly built team and scheme by Belichick.

By trading the 53, Taylor has included himself. The real question is what Belichick will do with our 53. My guess is a quick phone call to Rick Spielman.

the Dolphins for Brady There is no dolphin worth that trade on the whole roster I dont think They would part with Brady for the whole Roster and the Dolphins whole draft board. And to all you Brady haters saying he is on the decline ARE YOU RETARDED 16-0 Reg Season 50 tds Highest Passer rating and a whole bunch of other records and as for Brady looking bad against San Diego The bolts happen to have an amazing secondary ask the Overrated Peyton Manning who was picked 6 times by the chargers in the reg season and 3 more in the post season Not to mention The pats have won 3 superbowls and made the playoffs 7 of the last 8 years with shitty receivers. So all you haters Grow up New England was one of the best Teams in history this year and next year you will see an even better team..
