I'm excited about today's game against New England.
I am not a masochist. I enjoy good football and I'm sure we can all agree the Patriots play good football practically every time they take the field.
But my excitement goes beyond watching the Pats. I will be very interested to see how the Dolphins play, and particularly how the youngest Dolphins play. I wrote today that this is an exciting time for the Dolphins because, starting today, we finally see some up-and-coming players get a chance to show what they got.

In my opinion, Dolphins fans now have to watch games with a focus that stretches beyond the score. Let's face it, this season is lost. But even if the Dolphins continue to lose (and they will) it will be interesting to find out about Ted Ginn Jr. and Jason Allen and Lorenzo Booker and, eventually, John Beck. That interests me because it will give a glimpse of the future.

Armando, I just saw on ESPN, that Ted Ginn Jr. would be making his first start in today's game. Can you confirm this?
Armando, why is it the Herald is always LAST with the big news. The Chambers trade was on the Sentinel, Sports Illustrated and ESPN sites long before it appeared here.
Also, you previously asked for comments about making the blog better, which we agreed the messages should be most recent on top and the screen should auto update so there is no need to keep refreshing the page. As a programmer, I can tell you these changes should be quite easy for the Herald web developers.

Armando, here was my experience: I saw the Chambers trade on the SI site so I then checked this site and didn't see it. Then I checked the Sentinal and saw it, checked ESPN and saw it, came back here and still didn't see it. Could be that I am blind, or could be it wasn't here first. Not a big deal though, I was just curious.
