Pope with the Dolphins in Pittsburgh

Quickie update: Despite his mysterious hospital stay that forced him to miss practice Saturday, linebacker Derrick Pope flew with the team and is in Pittsburgh for Monday's game against the Steelers.

“I didn’t feel well and thought I needed medical attention," Pope said in a statement released through the team. "Everything checked out and I feel better.

“I appreciate everyone’s concerns. I know our team physicians have been in touch with the hospital medical staff and are satisfied that everything is in order.”

While it is assumed Pope will play, his official status remains uncertain.

I'm sure whether he plays or not will make a big difference in the outcome of the game.

More important, perhaps, is the fact safety Troy Polamalu and receiver Santonio Holmes will not play for the Steelers.

Join me here tomorrow evening for a live blog during the game

from the blog title, I thought the Vatican was taking an interest in keeping the Fins from going winless.

I thought the above post by anonymous was funny as hell. It may take a "higher power" to get this team a victory.

whats up with Ricky, Mando? Didn't Shameron say yesterday that he would give us an update today and then announce the starter Monday?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but AJ FEELEY is looking REAL GOOD VS. the Pats!, as are the rest of the Eagles.

Am I the only one that notices that Brady looks like a pouting infant every time he gets hit?

Even though I agreed with the Welker trade, and of course the Feeley trade, it's a little ironic that they both had career days today. If you want to look at WHY we are where we are look no further than HERE:

11/25/07

AJ Feeley, almost 350 Yards, 3 TD's (of course, he did throw 2 late 4th Quarter pick)
Welker, over 150 Yards
Heath Evans, TD
Larry Izzo, in on almost every special team's tackle
Chambers, TD
Adewale Ogunleye 7 tackles, 2 sacks, FF, FR

Of course, there's 5 picks and a FF between Madison and Surtain

At least Frerotte still sucks!

2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6/6 Conditional 5th-round pick in 2008 to Kansas City for QB Trent Green

Of course, we got nothing for Madison, McMichael, and Culpepper...This list, is, of course, by no means complete....

So, what's the only constant we've had since '02? It's not the coaching staff (not that I think Cam is anything but a douche!)

Very excited about the Dolphins/Steelers game tonight!
I kind of have mixed feelings about Ricky Williams coming back, you guys think he can make a difference? I personally think we will have a much stronger running game but i don't know if it will show against the steelers defense, they're tough. All I want is to win one game ONE! so we can get this "losers" label out of the way. I took NFL odds on Miami +16, I'm sure they will cover... games like this have been really close.

Armando, this team makes me want to vomit every week. I love the dolphins more than anything but I am disgusted, disinterested, and disheartened that my franchise has become the brunt of jokes nation wide.. We all understand cameron doesn't have talent but sometimes you really have to ask your self if this guy knows what the hell he is doing!!
