Call in today and talk to Salguero live

It is the day after Thanksgiving and everyone is several pounds heavier. Welcome to middle age, people.

Anyway, before I head over to Dolphins camp this afternoon, I will be doing the morning drive show on Miami Herald radio partner 790 The Ticket. Sid Rosenberg, the usual morning host, is on vacation so I will be in today from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Why should you care?

Well, seems a lot of you have much to say to me via cyberspace -- some of your comments even make sense. So this is your chance, should you want to take advantage of it, to call in and talk to me LIVE. And yes, we have a seven-second delay so the same rules apply there as here -- NO CURSING.

You can call 888-790-3776 and we can talk about the Dolphins, some other SPORTS or perhaps some other topics. It doesn't matter if you're in South Florida or not as the show will stream live on the web at 790theticket.com and I'm pretty certain the number I just gave is a toll-free nationwide number.

Do with this what you will. I'll be back later in the day, with a Dolphins update.

Mando, listening to you on the radio for the first time. Last week you referred to your local NFL team as a 'sorry bunch'. Criticism is fine, but that is an immature put down on a personal level, in other words, quite unprofessional. Now, hearing you live, as an announcer you are in no way above the fins. You have the demeanor and vocabulary of a party dude teenager, which perhaps is your audience.

Those bastards? Why do you say that, simply because he was Chinese? You are another sick puppy. South Florida has to be the most racist and prejudice part of the country, I've lived all over and that is the impression I get, lot's of racial hostility here. It's a shame. Remember your ancestors were 'foriegners' here too when they arrived, as were mine.

Im not crazy about Cowher as our coach. Cowher burnt himself out in Pittsburg, so he needs at least 1 more year off. Give Cam a realistic chance to put things together, I see alot of positives on offense. After next year, if our team has not improved, then go after Cowher, if he is the 'best' available. But I do like the idea of Bill Parcells as GM, I love that idea!!! I dont know what it is, but I just dont trust Mueller.

parcells as the gm is a great idea and it would be a great hire and the dolphins would win again!!!!! bryan in ohio.

If Armando is so horrible why are you on his blog, asswipe?

I think he's very talented and very insightful. I read him everyday and listen whenever I'm in the car and he's on.

John Beck shows that you do not want to win. You have a better chance (how slight that might be) with Cleo Lemon. Give Cleo a chance. He clearly has a better arm.
